Description: Item/Description: Antique decorative Chinese cigarette tobacco box. Trinket box. Crafted from brass, covered chased floral engraving work over entire lid and sides. Accented with medallions of cloisonne enamel in cobalt blue with Chinese motifs, symbols and designs in brass. Center large oval cloisonn� medallion of bright colored flowering leafy branches against an azure blue background. Hinged lid. Wood lined interior. Hallmarked: China on bottom.

Condition: Good. Brass free of damage, dents, dings. All enamel cloisonne enamel medallions intact and free of chips, cracks. Signs of age, use and wear including patina, scratches, scuffs, tarnish, looseness to hinge with side to side wiggle but lid closes and opens smoothly, dryness to wood interior, one missing brass corner reinforcement piece to lid, remnants of polish.
