Yu Cha Pak (Korean, 20th Century) studied Classical Oriental Art in Seoul. After immigrating to the United States she continued her studies a Florida Institute of Technology, receiving her degree in Fine Art. She also studied printmaking at the Art Sudents League in NYC and the Glassell School in Houston. "I paint in a very spontaneous manner introducing the dominant colors first, and background washes. Then, I use a dry brush to add detail, shading and highlighting."
