Description: Item/Description: Original, colorful village scene features impressionistic view of figures walking near adobe house, leafless trees in the foreground. No visible signature. Artist name label on frame back. An additional piece of art is adhered to backing.
Charles Yarnall Abbott (American, 1870 - 1938) photographer and painter who studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and at the Académie Colarossi in Paris, France. He was a lawyer for ten years before becoming an artist.

Dimensions: Image size: Height: 8 1/2"; Width: 10". Framed: Height: 13 1/2"; Width: 14 1/2"
Condition: Very Good. Colors vivid and crisp. Surface use and age wear includes scuffs, scratches, and paint loss to frame, Hanging hardware in working condition. Additional work adhered to backing (see below).
