Description: Item/Description: Bronze medal / medallion coin commemorating the wedding of Crown Prince Umberto of Italy and Princess Marie Jose of Belgium, 1930. In round leather case. Obverse features the couple in profile, the reverse shows the shields of the two countries under a crown. Below are leaves and the date of the wedding. January 8th, 1930 (MCMXXX). On front of coin under profiles: unidentified logo. On reverse of coin: tiny letter Z with crown near bottom.
Umberto was married in the city of Rome on 8 January 1930 to Princess Marie Jose of Belgium (1906–2001), the daughter of King Albert I of the Belgians and his wife, Queen Elisabeth (nee Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria).

Condition: Very Good. Engravings are sharp, features distinct. Surface use and age wear includes warm patina, nick at edge, scratches, scuffs. Case locking closure in good working order. Outer surface has abrasions scuffs areas of loss to leather. Interior silk and felt lining intact, ribbon torn. Odor free.
