Description: Item/Description: Antique pair of embossed and etched brass token coins by famed Israeli artist and designer, Bezalel. Made for the holiday of Purim, these Mishloach Manot coins were given out between friends as part of the tradition of the holiday of exchanging gifts. They depict a scene in Jerusalem The coin medals depict two Jews in traditional period clothing exchanging gifts (Mishloach Manot in Hebrew). The cityscape of Jerusalem, in the background. The Hebrew script at the bottom reads: "Mishloach Manot Ish L'Re'eihu Bezalel Jerusalem".

Material: Brass

Dimensions: Length: 2 5/16"; Width: 2 5/16"

Condition: Very Good. Free of damage. Images crisp. Surface use and age wear includes shallow dings, patina, spots of oxidation. Coins have not been polished or cleaned.
