Description: Item/Description: Outstanding Mid-Century signed Alfredo Vilasana Taxco Mexico choker necklace. Typical of his style, this Sterling Silver choker necklace is crafted from articulated scroll shaped panels; the links hidden from view giving the necklace a seamless, floating appearance, which lays flat against the neck. Hook and rung clasp. Hallmarked: Hecho en Mexico Sterling 925, maker's mark AV.



Renowned and talented silversmith, Alfredo Vilasana designed works for William Spratling and Hector Aguilar in Taxco, Mexico in the 1930s and 1940s before producing his own works in the 1950s.

Dimensions: Length: 15 1/2"; 15 3/4" ( with clasp); Width: 1/2; approximately 38 grams

Condition: Very Good. Free of dents or dings. Surface use and age wear includes scratches, patina, tarnish. Has not been polished. Clasp in good working order.
