Description: Item/Description: Unique Mexican souvenir ring also known as a " Mexican Biker Ring" is fashioned from pewter with copper plaque inserts and depicts a Mayan warrior with painted enamel accents. Ruffled edges. Great detail. Hallmark: illegible. These rings were made in the early 1940s by Mexican artisans using devalued pesos which were melted down and used for jewelry. They typically featured Native American, Mayan or Mexican symbols and motifs.

Material: Peso/ Mixed metals

Dimensions: Length Top: 1 1/8 "; Width: 3/4", a size 9 on our sizer.

Condition: Good. Surface use and wear includes scratches, patina. Free of dings or damage.

Age: 1940s-1950s.
