Description: Item/Description: Lot of two Sterling Silver Torah pointers. Ceremonial religious artifacts known in Hebrew as a Yad (hand) they are fashioned from Sterling Silver in a tubular, telescope shape with traditional Middle Eastern design elements of floral, beadwork embellishments. Terminal ends are figural right hands, index fingers outstretched in the pointing position as a guide to the reader of the Torah scroll text. Each has a hanging chain attached. Hallmarked: Made in Israel 925 (on smaller); no visible marks on larger but tested as silver
