Scott is known for his sculptured jewelry which showcase his love of layering contrast and texture. Hallmarked: R.J Scott Taa Itsohii / Sterling. Born in 1965, in Los Angeles, California Scott's interest in jewelry making and design began as a child, initiated by his parents. His acknowledges artists Raymond Yazzie, Boyd Tsosie, and Charles Supplee as prominent figures and inspiration in his life and work. His pieces have won many awards and he has exhibited extensively.
