This item was used as a prototype sample by the previous owner, Peter Joseph. He served as the senior vice president of sales for Dan Dee International from 1989-1995. As per Mr. Joseph. after a prototype sample was created, it was typically reviewed by himself, staff members, at times Matt Groening, and other associated parties. If the prototype sample did not meet the necessary criteria, it was set aside and unused. Item will include Peter Joseph and Taurus Auctions COA.

Condition: Fine. Toy has never been removed from its packaging, with protective plastic on Bart's head and legs. The function of the toy cannot be confirmed as there is no cutout for the string on the back of this talking doll (note that this is most likely an earlier sample of the other Talking Bart Simpson we have listed). The packaging has minor edge and corner issues, such as scuffs and dings.
