Description: Item/Description: British, 19th century, stepped, arch top case with pierced brass side sound frets below lion-head side ring handles, inlaid brass front panels, brass ball feet. Glass panel rear door to show movement. Hinged brass bezel. Etched pendulum.
John Wontner of Minories, London is recorded in Baillies Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World book as working until 1807. He was admitted to the Clockmakers Company in 1770 and is noted as 'A maker of repute'. (Bracket Clock, Time Piece)

Condition: Cracks, chipping, crazing to dial. Old repair, chipping, cracks to wood case. Clock will wind and tick, but will eventually stop. May need to be cleaned and/or serviced. Clock is sold as-is for parts or repair
