Description: Item/Description: Planchon A Paris (French, founded 19th century) French gilt bronze and patinated-metal, porcelain and marble figural clock. Porcelain figurine of a maiden, holding apples in her dress, lead into a gilt metal tree with birds in a nest. Both sit atop the heavily gilt mounted marble base with bun feet. Beveled glass door over porcelain clock face, which is marked: Planchon A-Paris. Movement marked 01275 / Planchon A Paris.

Condition: Dial has old repairs, cracks, damage. Minute hand is bent. Old repair to marble. Mountings are loose. Old repairs and breaks to gilt leaves (one is loose). Clock will wind and tick, but will eventually stop. May need to be cleaned and/or serviced. Clock is sold as-is for parts or repair
