- Decorative Dan style mask. Hand carved wood African mask, Liberia, Ivory Coast. Prominent carved features, elaborate headdress and collar of natural fiber, twine, decorated with cowrie shells. ( Ivory Coast, Ceremonial, Tribal, Primitive, Spirit, Ritual, Sculpture)
Material: Wood, paint, natural fiber, textile, twine
Dimensions: Length: 14" (includes burlap trim); Mask alone 8 1/4"; Width: 10"
Condition: Surface wear, use and age. Includes some scratching, chipping.
- Elaborate Dan style hand carved wood mask. Human and animal characteristics. Animal (antelope) horns on side of face. Zoomorphic. Natural fiber, textile, embellished with cowrie shells. Decorative African mask.
Material: Hand carved wood, horn, burlap, shells, twine
Dimensions: Length: 13 1/2"; Width: 9 1/2"; Depth: 3 1/4"
Condition: Surface, age and use wear. Area of wood loss to inside rim.
- Finely carved African Dan style decorative mask framed with double row of stuffed burlap, hand-stitched, adorned with cowie shells, feathers. Beautiful workmanship. Ivory Coast.

Condition: No visible damage, except for minor rubbing to facial prominences. Surface, use and age wear.
