Edward C. Slocombe (English, 1850-1915). Slocombe was born into a family of artists; his brothers Charles Philip (1832-1895) and Frederick (1847-1920) were all etchers. Edward regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1873 and 1904 and published his work in Hamerton�s The Portfolio and The Art Journal.
