William Ashton-Taylor got his start as a young lad, at the ripe age of 15. He found himself assisting the pipemakers in the famous Dunhill factory, starting by cleaning up scrap briar and other such materials but always showing a drive and curiosity for the actual mechanics of pipemaking. By the time he was in his mid 30�s he had his own operation, and ever since then he has only gained in stature and skill.
