Description: Item/Description: Danish estate pipe by S. Bang. Stamped: A / S. Bang / Copenhagen / Handmade in Denmark. Also has Per Hansen's personal stamp. The pipe was designated an A grade by its makers. The English "Copenhagen" marking indicates the pipe is from before 1984.
Originally started by Svend Bang in 1968, S. Bang has been a standard bearer in quality Danish pipe making since its founding. Two of Bang's employees carried the company forward after his retirement until the company closed its doors in 2019.
