Description
Description: Item/Description: Unique presentation ring by Weyhing Brothers Manufacturing Company of Detroit, Michigan. The ring made for an automobile service craftsman for Pontiac, a division of General Motors. Fashioned from Sterling Silver, the top has an ornate 10K gold shield design depicting a car. A Native American headdress and arrow head decorations on the shanks. The Pontiac brand was introduced by General Motors in 1926. The name was taken from Chief Pontiac, an American Indian chief who led an unsuccessful uprising against the British shortly after the French and Indian War.
