Description: Item/Description: Rare and majestic Asian or Middle Eastern gilded silver breastplate bib necklace with matching dangle drop earrings. Scalloped crescent shaped bib encrusted with precious and semi-precious gemstones including lapis, coral, turquoise, seed pearls, citrines and rubies. Center deity-like figure/dancer set with with carved lapis and wears a golden crown, necklace and jeweled earrings. Flanked on either side by two smaller matching figures set with carved coral. Extraordinary workmanship, intricate design and detail. Mounting of necklace and chain have silver content ( tested ). Gilding to surface and settings of jewels. Simple Shepherd's hook, figure eight link closure.
Matching jeweled earrings appear to be gilded brass with coin like fringes. 14K screw back findings (not original ) Necklace and earrings are unmarked. Earring posts hallmarked:14K.
Material: 14K, Silver, Gilt Brass, precious and semi-precious gemstones.
Dimensions: Necklace Length: 6 1/4"; Width: 3". Chain: 11"; approximately 158 grams. Earrings Length: 3 1/4"; dangle drop 2"; approximately 31.2 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Surface and age wear, all stones intact. Hanging loop at bottom of bib has a single connector/jump ring from which a pendant may have hung. Box is for display and not included in auction.
