Description: Item/Description: Exquisite carved jade lidded, hanging double ear vase, decorated with winged dragons/serpents. Light green jade with natural mottling. The body of the jar has carved dragon faces on either side above which is a band of etched triangles. It has two sets of handles: the lower are looped with jade rings and the upper are attached to a rarely seen jade link chain which itself is adorned with a medallion of dragons. The ornate lid features a conical finial, a pair of winged dragons in mirror image and a jade ring ( the second is missing). The vase sits atop a small oval wooden stand whose base is decorated with inlaid wire work. Unmarked.
