Item/Description: The Young Swell brand antique tobacco caddy label. Reads: The Young Swell / The Hatch Lith. Co. NY / Entered According to act of Congress, in the year 1868 by Thompson, Moore & Co. in the clerks office of the disct. court of the South Dist. of NY. Image depicts an image of a well dressed dog in an ascot with spectacle, pipe, pouch of tobacco, bottle of champagne and glass. Early paper litho advertising crate label. Unused stock. These early labels were printed to be used on crates of plug tobacco, or chewing tobacco. (Collectibles, Tobacciana, Signs, Man Cave, Art)
